Punjab Postal Circle Invites Applications From Indian Citizens to fill out vacancy posts of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants as per details given below:-

Last Date of Receipt of applications : 12/10/2009

• Postal Assistant, Total Vacancies : 143 posts
• Sorting Assistant in Rail Mail Service Jalandhar, Total Vacancies : 09 posts
• Sorting Assistant in Rail Mail Service Ludhiana, Total Vacancies : 10 posts
• Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
• Age Limit: 18-25 years
• Minimum Qualification : Pass in 10+2 or 12th with English as a compulsory subject and should have studied the Punjabi Language as a subject at the least upto Matriculation or equivalent.
• Applications Fee: Application forms are available in the Head Post Office and Sub Post Offices in all District Hqs/ Tehsil Hqrs and other important sub post offices under Punjab circle on payment of Rs.25/- by cash.

How to Apply: Application duly completed along with relevant certificates should be submitted to the concerned postal division by Registered Post or Speed Post only where candidates want to apply on or before 12/10/2009.
